Glenelg is a picturesque village strung out around the bay and set in a dramatic landscape.
The local community is strong and vibrant and holiday makers will receive a warm welcome.
Getting to Glenelg is an adventure in itself as you arrive by road via Mam Ratagan which goes from sea level to 1116ft, has several hairpin bends and is mostly single track. Alternatively, it is possible to arrive by ferry from the Isle of Skye on a passage across the fast flowing tidal waters on one of the last remaining turntable ferries.
The house is opposite the Village Shop, a licensed grocer selling nearly everything and Post Office. More importantly it's a very short walk to the local pub, The Glenelg Inn. Fresh food is cooked to order every day down at the Inn and often there is live music.
